The bottom line is, you can meet a total psycho at a bar or on the street, so its no different online. You just have to trust your instincts. At least you can "feel" a guy out online.
How do you mean?

Well, if you don't like a guy, their emails exchanges aren't flowing or they're not what you're looking for, you just stop responding and never meet in person. It's as simple as that really.
